Vampires don't manifest their unique powers until they become Teenagers, so if you make a Child or a Toddler, they'll act as normal Sims even if they are vampires. When creating a vampire this way, you can select what age you would like the Sim to be. To do this, simply click the "Add a New Sim" button at the button, then select "Add Occult Sim," then "Add Vampire." However, if you're eager to get into playing as a vampire right away, you can make one outright in a new family in Create A Sim. With my deeper storylines I take a lot of care into orchestrating things together but with this one, it was very chill and fun to do.Any Sim young adult or older may be turned into a vampire, which will be covered a bit later on this page. I have had waaaaaay more deep, convoluted and messed up storylines but this was still one of my favorites because it was one of my first experiences with sims 4 and simply because I didn’t take it too seriously. After she had the child she maxed out her vampire rank and did the “vampire slay” interaction to Vlad, turning him into a human, banishing him from Forgotten Hollow and living with her child in the mansion that was now hers. So I had her work on the vampire cure in secret and also had her get pregnant with his child because I figured she’d want a suitable heir to the vampire throne by having her parents be the two strongest vampires of their time. I had this idea in my mind that the Grand Master should be the leader of all the vampires, in a “there could only be one” kind of way. She romanced Vlad at this point and moved in with him in Forgotten Hollow. By the time she was a young adult she was just short of being a master vampire, had maxed the vampire lore skill and had level 8 pipe organ. She immediately got turned because she and Vlad were pretty close and whenever she wasn’t working on her powers she was studying vampire lore. So she spent her teenhood completely dedicated to vampirism. He proceeded to call her to hang out for the rest of her childhood (which was super creepy and weird, but that’s Vlad) and then as a teen she got the master vampire aspiration and maybe the evil trait too out of pure chance (I randomize traits and aspirations). I had this gay couple that had a bunch of kids and one of them struck up a friendship with Vlad when he appeared at their doorstep (I figured it worked out because she was erratic). I have several legacies that I’m proud of, but one of my favorite storylines was in this family I played and had played the second generation rotationally shortly after deciding to get the sims 4 and a couple of packs since I had gotten the game at $5 and packs were on sale.
